INDICATIONS

Dermatitis, eczema, irritation, heat rash, itching, insect bites, urticaria

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS

Apply and rub on the affected area several times daily.

Precautions regarding dosage and directions

  1. Please follow the recommended dosage and directions.
  2. Children are permitted to use this medicine only under the direction and supervision of a parent or other responsible adult.
  3. Avoid contact with eyes. If this medicine gets into the eye, immediately rinse the eye with cold or lukewarm water. In case the symptoms are severe, consult an ophthalmologist.
  4. For external use only.
  5. You may experience slight hot flushes (heat sensation) after application and rubbing of this medicine, but they will disappear quickly.
  6. Do not cover the affected area with less breathable materials such as plastic wrap, after application and rubbing of this medicine.

INGREDIENTS AND CONTENTS

Terres Hi NANKO S is a white translucent ointment; the ingredients and contents in 100 g and the main actions of the ingredients are as follows:

Prednisolone valerate acetate 0.15g Relieves inflammation, swelling, and itching of the skin by an antiinflammatory effect
Diphenhydramine 0.5g Relieves itching of the skin by an antihistaminic effect
Crotamiton 5.0g Relieves itching in a competitive manner by mild stimulation of the skin
Tocopherol acetate 0.5g Improves blood circulation and helps treatment
Isopropyl methylphenol 0.1g Prevents pus formation due to scratches, etc. in the affected area, by an antiseptic effect

This medicine contains cetanol, microcrystalline wax, octyldodecanol, and petrolatum as inactive ingredients.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

What you should NOT do

If you do not follow the precautions listed below, your current symptoms may worsen and you may be at an increased risk of side effects.

  1. Do not use this medicine in the following areas:
    Affected area with chickenpox, athlete's foot, tinea, etc., or pus formation
  2. Do not use this medicine to a large area of the face.
  3. Do not use this medicine regularly for long periods.

Who should seek consultation

  1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson** before using this medicine:
    1. Persons under treatment by a physician
    2. Women who are or may be pregnant
    3. Persons who have had allergies to medicines or something
    4. Persons with an extensive lesion
    5. Persons with severe moistening or erosion
  2. Stop using this medicine immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if the following symptoms appear after using this medicine because they might be side effects of the medicine. Take this leaflet with you.

PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE AND HANDLING

  1. Keep the tube tightly closed, and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Keep out of the reach of children.
  3. To prevent improper use or loss of quality, do not transfer the medicine to another container.
  4. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date (indicated on the outer box and tube.)
