INDICATIONS

Roughness of the hands and fingers, keratosis of the elbows, knees, heels, and ankles, cracked skin and chapped skin of the hands and feet, xeroderma, dry skin in children, chilblains (except for erosions), thickened and stretched scars and burn scars (except for the face), swelling, muscle pain, and joint pain after bruise and sprain

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area or spread on gauze and attach it once to several times daily.

Precautions regarding dosage and directions

  1. Children are permitted to use this medicine only under the direction and supervision of a parent or other responsible adult.
  2. Avoid contact with eyes. If this medicine gets into the eye, immediately rinse the eye with cold or lukewarm water. In case of an abnormality, consult an ophthalmologist.
  3. For external use only.
    Note: Do not use this medicine on a bleeding wound.
    (Bleeding may become difficult to stop.)
    Note: Do not use this medicine on scars or burn scars on the face.

INGREDIENTS AND CONTENTS

In 1g: Heparinoid 3 mg
This medicine contains cetomacrogol, glycerin stearate, medium chain fatty acid triglyceride, cetostearyl alcohol, petrolatum, propylene glycol, glycerin, paraben, disodium edetate, diisopropanolamine, and pH-adjusting agents as inactive ingredients.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

What you should NOT do

If you do not follow the precautions listed below, your current symptoms may worsen and you may be at an increased risk of side effects.

  1. The following persons should not use this medicine:
    1. Persons with hemorrhagic diseases
      (such as hemophilia, thrombopenia, and purpura)
    2. Persons expected to have a severe outcome even with a small amount of bleeding
      (This medicine has an anti-blood clotting effect and may cause increase in bleeding.)
  2. Do not use this medicine in the following areas:
    Eyes and areas around the eyes, mucous membranes (oral cavity, nasal cavity, vagina, etc.)

Who should seek consultation

  1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson** before using this medicine:
    1. Persons under treatment by a physician
    2. Persons who have had allergies to medicines or something
    3. Persons with severe moistening or erosion
  2. Stop using this medicine immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if the following symptoms appear after using this medicine because they might be side effects of the medicine. Take this leaflet with you.

    Skin Rashes, redness, itching, swelling, purpura
  3. Stop using this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if symptoms do not improve after using this medicine for five to six days. Take this leaflet with you.

**Registered salesperson: person who has the license to sell OTC medicines except Category 1.

PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE AND HANDLING

  1. Keep the tube tightly closed and store it in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Keep out of the reach of children.
  3. To prevent improper use or loss of quality, do not transfer the medicine to another container.
  4. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date. Even before the expiration date, use this medicine as soon as possible once the tube is opened.
