CHARACTERISTICS

  • This medicine is adrenocortical hormone (steroid) topical preparations containing hydrocortisone butyrate.
  • Sodium hyaluronate is used as a moistening agent.
    This medicine gives the skin a moist and smooth texture.
  • It is a white cream that spreads well without a greasy feeling.

INDICATIONS

Eczema, dermatitis, irritated skin, itching, insect bites, miliaria, urticaria

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS

Apply on the affected area several times daily.

Precautions regarding dosage and directions

  1. Children are permitted to use this medicine only under the direction and supervision of a parent or other responsible adult.
  2. Avoid contact with the eyes. If this medicine gets into the eye, immediately rinse the eye with cold or lukewarm water. In case the symptoms are severe, consult an ophthalmologist.
  3. For external use only.
  4. Please follow the recommended dosage and directions.

Reverse the cap, and press the spiked top of the cap hard onto the sealed foil of the tube to puncture the seal.

Petrolatum, cetanol, stearyl alcohol, cetomacrogol, glycerin stearate, polyoxyethylene behenyl ether, paraben, glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, citric acid hydrate, sodium citrate hydrate

Advice for Care

  • Clean the affected area before application of the medicine.
  • Be careful not to rub strongly. Apply a thin layer with fingertips.
  • Wash your hands (and the medicine on your fingers) after use.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

What you should NOT do

(If you do not follow the precautions listed below, your current symptoms may worsen and you may be at an increased risk of side effects.)

  1. Do not use this medicine on the following areas:
    1. Chickenpox, athlete's foot, ringworm, etc. or affected area with suppuration
    2. Eyes and areas around the eyes
  2. Do not use this medicine to a large area of the face.
  3. Do not use this medicine regularly for long periods.

Who should seek consultation

  1. The following persons should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson* before using this medicine:
    1. Persons under treatment by a physician
    2. Women who are or may be pregnant
    3. Persons who have had allergies to medicines or something
    4. Persons with an extensive lesion
    5. Persons with severe moistening or skin sore
  2. Stop using this medicine immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if the following symptoms appear after using this medicine because they might be side effects of the medicine. Take this leaflet with you.

    Skin Rashes, redness, itching
    Skin (affected area) Trichophytosis such as athlete's foot and ringworm, acne, symptom of suppuration, persistent irritation
  3. Stop using this medicine and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered salesperson if symptoms do not improve after using this medicine for five to six days. Take this leaflet with you.

*Registered salesperson: person who has the license to sell OTC medicines except Category 1.

PRECAUTIONS FOR STORAGE AND HANDLING

  1. Keep the tube tightly closed and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Keep out of the reach of children.
  3. To prevent improper use or loss of quality, do not transfer the medicine to another container.
  4. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date. Once the tube is opened, use this medicine as soon as possible to maintain quality.
